This is a Christian Oriented,
Internet based outreach ministry.
Our aim is to provide local ministerial
services in the Tallahassee area for non-denominational Christians.
LightHouse Ministries has the
following goals:
To serve as an International Ministry providing
information about international Christianity and links to sites of Christian
Excellence on the web
To offer spiritual counseling and prayer for
those who are in need regardless of denominational affiliation or doctrinal
background
To provide special counseling services for
People With AIDS stressing a positive approach based on God's love
To provide a sounding board for issues surrounding
serious web-based ministerial outreach groups, especially nondenominational
ones
To offer a place for fellowship and reflection
To serve as a site for spreading the Good News
about God's love
To provide a place of healing for those who
have turned away from God's love
To provide a forum for discussion of difficult
issues facing the modern Christian in a changing world
To provide synergistic links between secular
and spiritual approaches of living with integrity in an ethically-challenged
world

them. Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in
harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly;
never be conceited. Repay no one evil for evil, but take thought for what
is noble in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends upon you,
live peaceably with all. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it
to the wrath of God; for it is written, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay,
says the Lord." No, "if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty,
give him drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals upon his head."
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
If you are interested in joining
LightHouse Ministries, fill out an
application form and submit it to me. There is no cost other
than whatever time and effort you may wish to contribute to make this outreach
a more meaningful experience. In the near future I will be offering Ordination
for those willing to complete a rigorous course
of study. Ordination will be free, but will require submission
of exam papers on the course of study. These papers will be your way of
supporting this ministry in terms of its educational outreach. All papers
will be published online, and available for others to read. After finishing
this course of study you will have the background knowledge to effectively
share the Gospel and perform other ministerial services. An initial set
of beginning
studiesare now available. Please note that the parent church

The Web,is now starting aSchool
of Biblical Studies. This will offer certificates and degrees
relating to spiritual studies. So as not to overlap with this effort, LightHouse
Ministries will not be offering such certificates and degrees at this location.

Prayer Requests/Counseling
Be sure to send in any prayer requests
you may have. If you desire a more public prayer request, be sure to join
Pastor Ford's The First International
Church Of The Weband post your requests on the public Prayer
Request Page you will find at his church. All prayer requests sent to LightHouse
Ministries will be considered private. Different folks have different
needs and I hope that by LightHouse Ministries having a private
line as well as linking to Pastor Ford's public line, as many needs as
possible may be served. The Counseling
Service is now officially available! Our purpose is to provide
spiritual-based counseling from a prayerful perspective. We are not certified
psychological counselors and do not offer medical or psychiatric counseling.
A professional counselor should always be sought for help with medical
and/or psychological problems. There is often, however, a deep spiritual
side to our day-to-day problems and our purpose will be to provide help
in this realm. Although this site is primarily aimed at Christian Counseling,
all with spiritual difficulties are welcome. I am conversant with numerous
religious traditions and may be able to provide guidance here or will suggest
an appropriate alternative site. Always remember: You are not alone!
