The First International Church of the Web (FICOTW) ordains only Christian ministers and is founded upon strictly Christian principles.

The First International Church Of The Web is Non-Denominational, preferring to emphasize the Love of our Lord Jesus Christ rather than individual differences of interpretation.

• To serve as an International Ministry providing information about international Christianity and links to sites of Christian Excellence on the web
• To offer spiritual counseling and prayer for those who are in need regardless of denominational affiliation or doctrinal background
• To provide special counseling services for People With AIDS stressing a positive approach based on God's love
• To provide a sounding board for issues surrounding serious web-based ministerial outreach groups, especially nondenominational ones
• To offer a place for fellowship and reflection
• To serve as a site for spreading the Good News about God's love
• To provide a place of healing for those who have turned away from God's love
• To provide a forum for discussion of difficult issues facing the modern Christian in a changing world
• To provide synergistic links between secular and spiritual approaches of living with integrity in an ethically-challenged world
